I have a #PixelFed account and no matter what I try, it will just NOT hold the Alt Text I type in. Editing it afterwards also does not work. It seems to work better on this account but my account at Pixelfed.Social big nope. Very frustrating. Any suggestions, anyone? 2025-09-13T09:13:41Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqspsqfsp8f4j9udgwkta8wcjv3h904zezsdr5mw75dzea8t3r6tfsgzypc97jtc5naxcsftum6de4f70pmu8c8vp9f45sus2tms5tmxyl3esv5xj9q In reply to nevent1q…p6sg
_________________________

Mainstream churches became integral to society. Despite the abuses and belief in supernatural nonsense they are also part of the glue that keeps society together.

Rationality alone seems to be not enough for many. Apart from ideals and ideologies people seem to need beliefs in mystery and hope of something better after death.

Remove organised religion and those people turn to woo and lose their anchor in society. Perhaps with accountability religion is preferable to that? 2024-11-17T10:27:00Z
