They arrest poor people and people of color for petty misdemeanors and then put these people into for-profit prisons where they work as slaves for multi national corporations. The architecture of the police buildings is exquisite. The kids read 23 year-old science books. Police drive brand new black on black cars. One of their helicopters just flew above me. The schools don&#39;t have nurses, counselors, or enough janitors. Schools buildings are old.
