Well when you’ve spent decades outfitting law enforcement with militarized equipment and they’re acting as a paramilitary force being unleashed on cities to kidnap and kill people, any claim that modern law enforcement bears no resemblance to the sort of standing domestic army that the slaver-Founders hated falls flat on its face.

The Founders were reacting to British troops being quartered in civilian spaces—homes, inns, taverns—and, for maximum audacity, colonists were required to provide them with things like rum and water. Nothing says empire like forced hospitality.

Also, the Biden administration is currently being blocked from enforcing new title IX rules that protect trans students. If Trump wins, Title IX won’t protect trans students anymore. They’ll just write new rules.

It’s so incredibly dangerous for people to be spreading the lie that the Biden administration is doing nothing for trans people.
