I still can't comprehend how someone can be tried for treason by a country they're not a legal citizen of? Unfortunately, this absurdity is normal for russians.

In January-June 2025, occupiers detained 24 people from #Crimea for 'treason'. It's a go-to charge to imprison anyone disliked.

Human rights defenders claim that given the mass arrests, closed court proceedings, restricted access to legal counsel, and reported use of torture, the validity of such accusations is highly questionable
