Aber Wolken und Himmel waren zu hell, die Mauer der Tiefgarage und die Fensterrahmen des Towers zu dunkel. Um die RAW-Bearbeitung mache ich ja schon länger einen Bogen. Bei dieser Aufnahme hier konnte ich die störende vertikale Trennlinie (Dehnungsfuge?) durch den Zuschnitt entfernen. Dafür ist der Mann sehr in die Ecke gerückt. Das extreme Breitformat ist auch nicht möglich – 4:3 ist für dieses Medium vermutlich sowieso die bessere Wahl.<br/><br/><br/><br/>In September, I showed you the same scene at the #HumboldtForum in #Berlin – a shot taken a few seconds earlier. In this shot, I was able to remove the distracting vertical dividing line (expansion joint?) by cropping it out. As a result, the man is pushed further into the corner. Plötzlich erzählte sie vom „Greifenbad“ und bog auf einen Hinterhof ab. Die ehemalige &#34;Öffentlichen Kur- und Warmbadeanstalt&#34; wurde vor 100 Jahren eingeweiht und ist jetzt ein Wohnhaus. Schon das Eingangsportal in der am Jugendstil orientierten Fassade fand ich beeindruckend. Aber es kam noch besser.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir einen Blick in die Haupthalle mit ihren in blau-grüner Keramik gehaltenen Wänden werfen konnten. Zu abendlicher Stunde war es tatsächlich so dunkel darin, dass ich die kräftigen Farben erst auf dem Display meiner Kamera so richtig bewundern konnte. Neben einigen architektonisch orientierten Fotos gelang mir auch eines, auf dem meine Begleiterin zu sehen, aber dank 1/3s Belichtungszeit nicht zu erkennen ist. So darf ich es immerhin hier veröffentlichen! Ihre rötlich-orange leuchtenden Haare kontrastieren perfekt mit den blauen Kacheln der Wände.<br/><br/><br/><br/>A few weeks ago, I was out with a friend in Rostock in the evening. Suddenly, she mentioned the “Greifenbad” and turned into a backyard. The former “public spa and warm baths” was inaugurated 100 years ago and is now a residential building. I was already impressed by the entrance portal in the Art Nouveau-style façade. But it got even better.<br/><br/><br/><br/>We were lucky enough to be able to take a look inside the main hall with its blue-green ceramic walls. In the evening, it was so dark inside that I could only really admire the rich colors on my camera display. In addition to a few architecturally oriented photos, I also managed to take one in which my companion can be seen, but thanks to a 1/3s exposure time, she is not recognizable. Eigentlich habe ich beim ersten Regen seit längerem dort auf jemanden mit einem Regenschirm gewartet. Natürlich um noch weitere Kreissegmente ins Bild zu bekommen. Leider hatte ich nicht so viel Glück. Aber auch mit dem Radfahrer bin ich nicht unglücklich. Die Reflexionen der Schaufenster auf dem feuchten Pflaster hatten mich angezogen. Ich hätte lieber genau vor jedem Fenster eine Person gehabt. Aber zwei mal weiße Sneaker in idealer Schrittstellung – das war genug Glück genug.
