my iPhone (which had been on 26, not the beta) showed two updates to 26.7. One of them was actually 27, mislabeled. According to r/iOS, I was not alone 😂

Sometimes it's hard having hobbies that are *almost* practical.

For example, I want to get a CT clamp to report my dryer's power usage to Home Assistant for purely autism-related reasons. I can usually justify home automation purchases as "they'll save time/energy/money by making my house more efficient!"

But since my dryer use habits are unlikely to change, it's hard to convince myself to spend the 50 bucks for purely my own enjoyment, especially with how tight things are at the moment.

Switched from Google Homes to HomePods a few years ago and the only thing I miss is being able to activate them by saying “BIG UWU”

The DDR4-3000 stick that failed was $20 when I bought it around 2023 and is now $77 to replace, so I guess this server will be running with reduced memory until the AI bubble pops!

I also have Quantum with a UDM and I've been using mine in DMZ mode because I didn't want to change WAN settings and break things I didn't understand, but I changed this setting and unplugged/replugged the UDM's WAN cable and it worked! Thanks!

Now I have to figure out how to access the modem's web UI in case I need to make changes in the future since I can't hit 192.168.0.1 anymore lol
