Because there is easier and because many people left Microsoft, because of the ads, spying, and other nonsense. I would not suggest a Linux distro, that mimics Microsoft in that regard. Ubuntu's Snap store, last year, had more fakes apps and scam apps than the Google Play Store, for example.

And, of course, Ubuntu is not completely setup outside the box, and still very much relies on the terminal.

Although, only speculation, I notice this individual seems less like a prospecting journalist, and more like an advertising placeholder.

They made a similar post two (2) months ago, even starting it as their introduction to the Fediverse (see screenshot).

I am not a journalist, or inspiring blogger, but I would presume in two (2) months time, the article would have enough shared options to go to story. I also find it odd that they praise Sharkey in both post, as oppose to giving no opinion, and just asking people what they think.

That said, when I was confronting Sharkey, while still hanging out in their Discord Server, I learned they do use alternative accounts to help paint their narrative.

Again, my theory is only speculation, based on my experience and dealings with Sharkey. It just seems to fit their track record. And if in this instance, I am wrong, I apologize, but would again, point out that this is something they (Sharkey Development) have done in the past.

"Home" shows up in your local feed and that of anyone who replies, it shows up in theirs. It's a more focused to encourage people to follow someone and to keep engagement centralized, as opposed to a post that is seen wide and far, and I don't need to follow you to follow along.

The last time I worked in a Walmart Super Center, it was 15+ years ago. We would unload the tuck with another in wait, and everything on that truck would have gone straight to the floor, and be sold by the time we unloaded the 2nd truck. Being Walmart, prices ranged anywhere from $1-3,000 depending on the item. We sold everything from groceries to electronics, and even some ride on law mowers and appliances.
