Virginia creeper is a great vine, stinging nettle, poison ivy , “meadow sweet”/ hardhack (type of native spirea) grows pretty fast and is a pain to remove.(both literally and figuratively 🤣). Hmmmmm 🤔 cattails grow fast and are incredibly annoying to remove. (They fill up ponds pretty quickly!!) If it’s really down south where strangling figs grow, I would love to see it crush through the walls 😹
There is got to be more stuff that is more resilient than those I suggested

Orchestras usually use the “brass section” to describe anything that is shiny and in brass 😹 but I do believe they distinguish the “horn” as strictly the “French horn” and related instruments and the rest (like trombone) are just “brass”… that’s as far as my knowledge goes lol… so feel free to correct this statement 😹

there’s Tear-thumb and a grass that has backward spines that create awful paper cuts. Some hawthorns have wicked long spikes that are multi-spiked as well. Hogweed is an invasive (in the us) and dangerous plant 😹
Also castor oil bean I believe creates a horrible volatile oil that can cause skin welts if you walk too close to it on a hot sunny day. … don’t ask me why I know all this stuff 😉😹

Yeah, the proper English word(s) for this is/(are) : Outrageous, Bigoted, Hateful, Cruel, Crippling, and Disgusting… regardless of your religion, race, or gender orientation… this should be explained to everyone who uses such words about discrimination. This ^ , this makes me so weary, tired (& somewhat angry) that I hear people saying things like this… & *some* are definitely not naive & are very learned people (who are much older than me & have had a lot more experiences) But they don’t seem to understand, well, this ^!
I keep fighting them back when they say things like this. Sometimes it just comes down to “this is not the country I’m fighting for” & I just tell them that they are going to make it worse by talking like that .

what is double taxation is paying “income tax” on money you get from your “income tax refund” which people don’t understand that it’s what you already paid to the government and are getting back. The wealthy don’t see this as a problem because they have so much it doesn’t affect them. But inheriting wealth does, so that’s where they complain. Inheritance tax is not “double taxation” no matter how you frame it.

I finally joined mastodon after years of avoiding social media platforms.
Mastodon was recommended to me by a friend who understands my hesitation and wariness about these sites.

Now a bit more about myself, I love cats and nature, and pretty much every animal over large groups of human beings !😂
I like to draw and sketch (hence my first posts), as well as sing playing the piano and tatting lace. I’m very science oriented and am interested in a wide range of subjects.
