I think there's a real misconception about #gardening as a hobby from people who haven't tried it that it sort of magically happens and growing your own food is somehow saving you money compared to just going to the grocery store. Neither is true. It's a fairly expensive hobby, especially when starting, that requires a bunch of stuff I doubt normal people have or are even aware of and a ton of physical labor even for small gardens.

Awesome news! I wouldn't normally ask this in public spaces, but are you folks looking for writers (I've covered gaming, movies, tech, geek things since the 90s for magazines, web, TV)?

I wasn't sure what you might like, so I decided to go with options from some of my immediate animal friends. Hope this helps and is not at all weird or anything.

There's no shortage of reasons about why I absolutely despise LLMs and what people now call "AI", but this is a pretty good one that I'll bet few in the Western world think/know about or perhaps even care about.

It's both amazing and depressing how little I remember about time passing anymore. Maybe I should start seriously making lists so I have some reference about whatever the hell it is I actually do.

I have absolutely no idea where October went. I'm trying to remember it, but got nothing.

That's one of my very favorite Discworld novels.
