We went to the nursing home, brought her flowers, and celebrated with her and the family. It was a wonderful time. These are the things I&#39;ve been thinking about today. We were terrified of what was going to happen that day. We thought we were the next target. It was pure madness in my town. They evacuated all schools. All of them, except for mine. I&#39;ll never forget the panic in our teacher&#39;s eyes, the way they reacted, the way my mother argued with the principle when she came to pick me up. <br/><br/>Let&#39;s remember those we lost today, and yes, that certainly includes those who passed away years later due to illnesses caused by the destruction and devastation of that day.
