I am now used to writing OpenSCAD code directly, too. I do it in VSCode and created a lot of utility functions and/or modules. I don't feel the need for a precompiler.

You really expect a lot of answers here on Mastodon? I think the more up-to-date the picture is, the better, because after all, that's exactly who you are right now.
On the other hand, once I feel comfortable with a profile picture, it's hard to change. But Apple's comic filter helps a lot ;)
