The funny thing about this picture is that it comes from the cover of Washington Jewish Week, and it was there to promote their article announcing that my wife (who was also in a comedy troupe) and I were getting married. They asked for a picture where I was on my knees.

For years I was obsessed with pairing numbers so they added up to 7, and then picturing those numbers as domino dots. I also found myself singing (in my head) the same 32 musical notes.
