Placebo actually refers to a sugar pill or inactive ingredient that has no medical effect, which is replacing an orally active drug that is being tested in a labratory trial. When you say Qigong has a "placebo" effect, its misleading and not really true. It's not a orally inactive ingredient replacement for a drug in a clinical trial (placebo). What you may be referring to however is the effect that taking a orally inactive ingredient has on the patient, a mesurable result. They call that a "placebo effect" but this is again not going to apply to Qigong or is really the truth. "Placebo effect" is a whitewash for what is more accurately termed "mind body" effect, but they are not the same. The suger pill isn't actually having any effect on the patient, what is, however is their attention to themselves as they ingest it, which immediatly effects their condition simply because it's making them pay attention to their condition, rather than wait for someone to fix them. Thus mind is affecting the body, but the placebo / suger pill isn't haveing any effect. So Qigong is not a "placebo" and there really is no "plaecbo effect". It's just a white-wash to obfuscate the truth, that the mind and body are connected. 2026-10-27T05:32:54Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsf69hcka8rpdjwavs5cwnzmvlu8cyn4668egvu5g05zxhm30d2scszyqza8kzzwzmhkqnzw7g3hsdl4ej6yhp6pj208jdjassew9hfr75pxtcg24p In reply to naddr1qq…9n0t
_________________________

Very nice brah.
