I have always respected it and if I ever felt uncomfortable doing something i found another way to make a cut. I can still count to ten . Given the option starting out without the same experience I would buy a sawstop . Shit happens quickly with a table saw and kickback happens

my bride reupholsters furniture...I make new...I repair pieces from time to time that she gets in her shop. Nothing made after the 80's is worth your time. One chairthat stands out that she had to do had legs that were just stacks of 2x2 3/4" plywood . I have been on my soap box for many many years. Buy good quality once and it will outlive you. Instead this landfill furniture lasts 5 years ...the same people who buy it will bitch about plastic straws
