Yep, we were discussing it towards the end of last night's show - one, my elderly mother (and the elderly in general) are a liability. They do not turn lights off, they leave doors open with the AC, they turn 20 space heaters on and the boomer mentality is "get another job." I have 3 and I'm 45.
Secondly if i were "true poor" and not "middle poor" the utilities would let me not pay for MONTHS on end. If I miss a DAY they cut me off.

So just contacted an independent game store that was recommended to me to try to sell my games (because I need the cash to pay my 425 electric bill that even with three jobs I can't pay due to out of control groceries and gas prices)
They told me $150-200 for ALL of this.
No. Fuck no. There's lowball and then there's flat out disrespecting me.
I'm furious at the level of disrespect. DOA Xtreme 3 alone is worth like $90 domestically if I went through Ebay it would just take forever to get paid.

Seriously though, if you guys catch Happy Hour feel free to chime in the chat on your thoughts about PS5 Jailbreaking. We're seeing some crazy stuff. Full backwards compatibility is almost upon us, the Microsoft Storefront is accessible now, and it's only a matter of time before Nintendo falls - is this a win or a loss for gaming? Did companies bring this upon themselves with the "you will own nothing" bit? Very interesting landscape.
