That said, I’m considering (not in the short term though) purchasing an ultrasonic cleaner in order to better get rid of the grime and whatnot that’s on the threads. One would also be handy for cleaning out the glitter potion (with a TWISBI 700R) and Platinum Carbon Black (with this pen) I use. I also have looked into using one for gunpla, but I still have a kit I purchased and haven’t touched in over half a year…

It’s been just over a week now since I’ve started using this used Platinum 3776 I purchased via Mercari/Buyee from Japan. I was initially a bit disappointed by the scuffs and marks on the pen body, but the writing experience and nib feedback has more than made up for that! This pen is a joy to write with and is my new favorite pen that I own!

I recently mailed my girlfriend a Pilot Kakuno along with some ink cartrages…. *Sailor* Shikiori Sakura-mori ink cartridges to be exact.

Thankfully, she was able to order a CON-40 and used a syringe to transfer the ink from the cartridges into the converter.

I love and adore these crab fountain pen holders I bought at Kinokuniya. One of the arms is even lifted higher than the other to account for the cap!

Unfortunately I don’t have any other international cartridges as I gifted them all away. The good news is that I was planning on visiting Kinokuniya later today either way. The international carriage selection at that location is lacking but I should be able to find something.

It didn’t leak from the cartridge and appears to not be cracked.

It’s hard to describe, but ink was leaking out of where the metal body and plastic made contact. It could have been caused by the spring or more likely by me just running around (this was a very physical job).

Recently I finished up a summer job and gifted my two bosses a letter each where I thanked them for being so great to work and learn under.

It’s one thing to tell them this in person, or even over an email, but taking the extra time to write out on paper my thoughts and then seal them (I hope) really shows how genuine/important the words I wrote were.

Besides, this was a great way to use some pens/inks I’ve been neglecting until now!

I tried this for several days but I suspect that the spring pushed against the nib/feed/cartridge too hard which caused it to be pushed out a bit in addition to ink leakage.

I think what caused the cartridge to fall out in the first place was how I was using it with a lanyard while running around for my job. Now that I’m free from that I’m switching back to storing it regularly.

At work I was filling out some forms when my Travelers Pen stopped flowing. I found out the hard way by unscrewing it open that its cartridge had come undone.
