I got some debugging info. There is now an INFO message with "valid HTTP signature". But I cannot find the post in the helpers group.

The log for the request-id is pretty long. So I have stored the line in a file and uploaded it.

I am thinking about switching libranet.de to the current develop version 2026.08-dev. The thing is I really like the lately polished user interface with better icon placements and a fresh icon set.

The thing with the develop version is that the user's browser cache is not automatically refreshed to use the updated templates and CSS files. The user needs to Shift+Reload the page or needs to clear the cache of the browser once. Otherwise some menus and e.g. the new-post-button will be missing.

What do you think? Should I do the switch nonetheless?

Brie Mmm (nprofile…fw8x) I have the same issue myself. The reason is that the database queries loading the posts and related comments/reactions are very slow. In some cases they're running for several minutes. They should run only a few seconds. This leads to a timeout error.

I have tried to optimize several database settings to mitigate the problem. The situation has improved but under certain circumstances the queries are still too slow.

I need to investigate why these queries are sometimes pretty fast and sometimes unbearably slow.

At the moment the system is removing a lot of old content from the database. This can slow down other queries. When the clean-up job is done the situation should improve. But I think I need to run an database optimization after the clean-up is done.
