I guess what I'm wondering is: Are there recommended relays for very small instances?

      Folks self-hosting on the fediverse:

I am setting up a #GoToSocial instance for myself only.

It looks like #relays are the answer for populating timelines and making sure your own posts find their way beyond your bubble.

But I am wondering about resource usage. What are the cost efficient ways (resource cost, but also literal VPS cost!) to improve my timeline and my own posts' reach on my own single-user #GoToSocial instance?

#RelayServers #Selfhosting

      #Gardening folks w/kohlrabi experience:

We put in some purple kohlrabi bc we happened to have some seed we never used, back in early May. Technically it should have been ready around early July.

It's growing lots, lots of leaves, but no real bulb on most of the plants. They look healthy but no bulb formation.

Are these worth keeping in? Is bulb formation likely at this point, or should I just pull them?

They were a gamble to begin with bc of the heat, so no great loss.

We create this art together.”

Can you share where this passage is from?

Thanks for the articles -- great stuff!

Does anyone know of individual farms using a pay-what-you-want model when selling at farmers markets?

I have found a few articles about farm stands but most of them look like non-profit farms. That's awesome, but I'm wondering if any small for-profit operations have tried something like this.

I am using the term broadly: any model that allows customers to pay what they can/want would do. I'm brainstorming some pricing ideas for our own farm.

Feel free to boost.

#FarmersMarket #PayWhatYouCan
