There was a session on the main stage about using Bitcoin for disaster relief.
The speaker leads a Bitcoin community in Aceh, and years ago, when flooding hit the region, they raised donations using Bitcoin directly.
No banks. No delays. No cut taken along the way.

I listened to the whole talk, but what stayed with me most was the conversation we had afterward, just the two of us.
I told him about NTT. About the earthquake. About standing there just days before it hit.
About wanting to help but not knowing yet what that actually looks like.

He explained it clearly. How donations moved faster than anything routed through traditional channels.
How transparency mattered just as much as speed, people could see exactly where funds went.
How the hardest part was never the technology.
It was building enough trust, beforehand, that people believed in the process.

I left that conversation with a much clearer picture, honestly.
Though now I'm thinking through the practical side.
Who actually holds the wallet. Who posts the updates.
How to keep it transparent without losing the privacy I've kept here for over a year.

I have someone in mind already, someone I trust in NTT who's been distributing aid there for a while.
He doesn't know much about Bitcoin yet.
Maybe that's the next thing I teach, slowly, one step at a time.
And in the meantime, I'll continue to help in any way I can now. 🟠

This hit differently.

I paid expensive tuition to the market for years. Chased momentum. Followed signals. Lost.

Bitcoin didn't make me richer immediately. It made the invoice of my mistakes easier to read — and harder to ignore.

Best financial education I ever received. And it charged me in humility, not sats. 🟠

Wrong diagnosis. Wrong medicine. Patient gets worse.

I learned this the hard way — not in the clinic. In the market.

I tried options trading. Lost.
I chased IPOs in the stock market. Won a few. Then got stuck.
I rode Dogecoin up. Didn't know when to get off. Lost.
I traded gold and forex. Lost again.

At one point, I even paid millions to learn from educators.
Good educators, actually.
The knowledge was real.

But I was the problem.

I followed signals without understanding why.
I bought without knowing when to sell.
I wanted the result without doing the work.

The money I saved from one year in Gorontalo —
far from home, far from family —
slowly disappeared.

Not because I was cheated.
Because I wasn't ready.

There's a difference.
And accepting that difference was the beginning of everything.
