I never felt "grown", to be honest. But I think I start looking "old" when I see myself in videos. But you sure look grown when I see you. You seem to be doing grown things. It's more a perception thing, probably.

Many people who just want to "do something creative", confuse two things. Production and the actual creative process. They see the finished products on the internet but not the 6 years of practice and 15 versions and 3000 failed attempts that lead up to the polished version.

The amount of videos with "you only need to do thisorthat to play the blues" is ridiculous.

People seem to have unlearned that making mistakes on a learning journey is just getting closer to the goal by crossing of what didn't work.

With all the stupid shortcuts people will miss out on the joy of the journey. The feeling of anticipation, when you get closer to something you practice for a long time.

Decide what you need to do to take it there.
Do the actual editing.

She was right, it can be broken down to a three step process. She just didn't understand, that all of what you were teaching, was about one single step in the three step process.

I have hesitated even writing down all of the stuff I want to have accomplished by the end of the week... I think I should do a braindump and sort it into something achieveable.
Right now I'm going to dig out a rhubarb to make way for the strawberries

picking apples, start drying them
planting 200 strawberries
getting my drum carder back home and to service
bake birthday cake,
check the ewes genetics and plan the mating groups,
sort them and maybe shear the first few
setup new fence

it is not illogical, and in my case it doesn't change ...

it is not illogical, and in my case it doesn't change anything on the surroundings.
But knowing there is prosopagnosia and adhd and that I top score on all of the tests made me understand that I was gaslighting myself into believing I was not giving enough care for other people that I could not identify their faces. That other people don't actively practice recognizing people. They just recognize their parents on the street.

Or:
Sit still! You're disturbing everyone. Just focus. You're intelligent, if you wanted to do it, you could. Stop being lazy and tidy your messy room. You show everyone you don't care, because you're never on time. You can't have fun until you finish xyz 'insert very hard task for adhd'.

It can be a life and death difference.

when I meet people like this, I turn the conversation to: times are bad for everyone, I really think it is important to not kick downwards. It's the rich who have the saying, who make the world bad. Not the poor bastard on the corner. We need to help eachother not put one off a cliff.

Ich kanns nicht lassen, das Video beschäftigt mich einfach, weil es so viel geteilt wird, und weil ich Schäferin bin.

Für mich ist am Video mehr unstimmig als stimmig.

Die Lämmer laufen seltsamen Gleichschritt. Lämmer sind Kinder, die können kaum 2 Schritte geradeaus laufen. Da will immer eines schneller sein als das andere. Das passt nicht.

I'm contemplating on how to dress the loom. I have white and blue short drawn for the warp and white and blue textured long drawn for the weft.
I have more warp than weft.
I have enough white warp to weave up all the weft.
I wonder if I should alternate blue and white for the warp and use up all the weft and then make an additional weave with only short draw yarn in both colors, or if I should make an all white warp with stripey weft and an all blue short draw additional weave.
