One thing that tears apart marriages is the feeling of isolation. Make friends that can be called on for social events and accountability.<br/><br/>Find mentors. An older, experienced couple, firmly established in their faith, can be worth their weight in gold. You are going to face hard times. There is no getting around that. Those are the times when the other one steps in and covers the difference. This way of thinking avoids the trap of assigning blame for failing to live up to expectations. Money is not everything. Allow for fun in the budget. They are a blessing from God even though they can complicate your life. Life is a gift from God. Do not use abortion to escape the consequences of intimacy. You get the privilege of knowing the one who lived a perfect life amongst us, was tortured and killed by us, and yet came back to life having conquered death. You have the privilege of calling this Jesus, this Christ, this Savior of all who would call on his name your brother, your father, your King.<br/><br/>When you lose sight of all that, then you have been sidelined by the enemy. When you lose sight of that it is like a sailing ship that has not raised its sail to catch the wind.
