Yeah, basically. A social network for people who can read and comprehend anything long-form: articles, wikis, books, magazines.

Because we sliced and diced up the books, they're digestible and interweavable like articles are. That's the main novelty, really: lumping books together with smaller items for a subset of the modern audience: people with the concentration span to consume and converse over more than two paragraphs at a time.

I see clueless people going back-n-forth with their AI and a lot of useless crap comes out. I see capable people do it and useable products come out. The capable people think everyone is getting the same output they are, but GIGO still applies.

That said, AI has brought more of the engineering team to the coding table, instead of 5 people knowing what needs to be built, all yelling at Bob to build it. For better or for worse. Now, there are two or three Bobs, but still one SuperBob. (Who now gets to babysit the LowerBobs.)

That's clearly a book rating, as it has an "m" tag containing "book". That can be viewed on an app that renders all events, indiscriminately, or that renders at least books.

It is not possible to break functionality by adding tags, as clients ignore tags they don't use.

There is nothing at all normal about how this stuff was built. Outrageous, irresponsible behavior and open contempt for the customers, IMO. Their best bet is probably to claim that they were all taking hallucinogenic drugs while working; _it is that bad_. And it just keeps getting worse.

Every time there is a scandal like this, I am left staring in shock at how bad it all is, as I can't imagine anyone actually being this grotesquely bad. It's completely outside my frame of reference.

It's crazy how little AI is used in QC and QA, everywhere. Terrifying. Haven't been able to find a single potential employer utilizing AI for inhouse testing and it's like

I brought up AI and cryptography at an interview for a bank IT department and they were like, "Oh, we don't worry about that." Okay.
Interview was going well, until that moment.
