The guy that texted about free pussy is disgusting but drunkenness doesn't preclude texting - and by all accounts (including her own) she consented to a lot of what happened that night, guys stopped at least in some of the moments when she said no, and the missing pieces seem lost in a haze of drugs and alcohol.

Afterwards she literally said that nothing illegal happened and that she'd be up for it again but with fewer guys, and then she tried to go the next party and was banned.

So you're thinking that when people love profit, then the governing bodies reflect that (and vice versa)? Politics being downstream of culture? That makes sense to me, but I think we kind of have that culture. My guess is that if you looked at the US, you would get a very high consensus on the danger of "profit by any means" among the people. But the psychopaths who are drawn to power in either govt or private sector continue regardless; I don't see them being influenced by the culture in that regard.

Or if they are, it's superficial - I think the politicians who get elected tend to appeal to that culture - they know the rhetoric and how to use it- but always play the same power games.

You and I agree about so much! But to me the problem here is that the state - with its incredible power to coerce the people - is incentivizing certain behavior in the pharma companies. That same behavior in pharma without protection and subsidy and threat from the govt? zero profit

Business + coercion is a dangerous combination.

Business by itself can be good or bad, but it has a natural check on its power. Without coercion, products have to actually be of value to people.

My solution would be to get govt out of bed with pharma (not that I think that's going to happen...).

The other incentives regarding vaccines in the medical system I know that you're well aware of: state actors often getting hired by the pharma companies that they're supposed to be regulating, such that their job in - say - the FDA is kind of an interview for future position in pharma; insurance companies giving bonuses to pediatricians who has x% of children fully vaccinated in their practices... it's a long list, but I think you know it well!

I think it has more to do with thinking long term. My husband and I don't have much btc, but we're all in on the philosophy and when we built our house, it was with the future in mind. It's solid and made with real materials (brick, straw, mud, lime, sand, wood). We could have done it faster with flimsy materials, but we are thinking long-term and we want it to last.
I can imagine that when people with that attitude build a church, it's going to be more interesting and beautiful than the buildings we've seen over the last 50 years or so.

Radical monopoly in medicine is when the medical complex takes over the entire realm of human health. Birth becomes a medical event, death a medical event; health, disease, mood - in most modern societies these exist under the control and expertise of an industry called "medicine." If you are not trained and accredited within that system, you are not supposed to make decisions or in some cases even have opinions about those subjects. And if you are accredited and have heterodox opinions, you will generally be kicked out of the system.

It's a profound concept and is relevant for almost every struggle for sovereignty and basic humanity.

Even as it is now, whenever I use AI to dig down into some details about - say - vaccine safety, the starting point is a blanket "safe and effective" with study links. When I ask it to evaluate the studies - according to weaknesses that I happen to know about - it starts to say things like "yes, there are in fact issues here" and to give me better information, and by the end of the exchange, I'm getting something closer to the truth. But you have to know what to ask and where the study weaknesses are.

If a normie asks if vaccines are risky, or if MK Ultra could still be going on, or if OK City bombing is questionable... the answer is always going to be a definitive no, and most people don't know enough or care enough to dig deeper.

The peak time for side effects from vaccines - from fevers, to myocarditis to strokes - are in the first few weeks.

Example:

24 yo male takes a vaccine on Sept 14 2021
On Sept 16 2021 he is hospitalized for myocarditis

His myocarditis is recorded as having occurred to an unvaccinated 24yo male.

Maybe the full antibodies from the vaccine don't register for two weeks - fine, let's assume that's true for the moment - but that doesn't magically apply to the side effects as well.
In any case, you can have a status that accounts for the two weeks that you're mentioning. Something like "Vaccinated but in the two week window before full protection. But that wasn't done (Why not? it would have been easy to do.)

For the mRNA jabs, you weren't considered fully vaccinated until 2 weeks after your second shot.

Most side effects are concentrated in the days immediately after vaccination, so all thing things that happened in that window
- covid cases
- covid deaths
- strokes
- heart attacks
- (etc)

were attributed to someone being unvaccinated (or partially vaccinated).

It's hard to overstate the effect of this on the statistics around the effectiveness of the shots. Basically most of negative effects of the shots are falsely attributed to the lack of them.

This is such a mess. It seems that the Massachusetts law on insanity is written in such a way that a non guilty verdict is actually the only logical one. If I've understood correctly, all the jurors have to decide is if there is a reasonable doubt that she was in her right mind. And there's plenty of evidence - between dr reports and toxicology - that she was not in her right mind.

The law is the problem here. Imagine a world where if there's any possibility that someone might be insane, they can't be convicted of murder.

In a lot of their questions about the nature of the world, of history, of human nature, etc they look for an absolute answer or opinion. I've been using Obsidian for years and love it. The ability to build on ideas over the years is wonderful and it can also be a terrific tool for organization. I'm sure I'm not even scratching the surface of its potential (there are a TON of community plug-ins that look very interesting). Files are small and very easy to store. I found it after being exposed to the concept of Zettelkasten, and the other similar apps that are usually mentioned seemed terrible to me even before I had much awareness of privacy - all data stored on the servers on the company.

Cons - I don't think it's open source (not that I would know how to read the code, but I would prefer it anyway!). And otherwise I'm not sure but I don't have too much to compare it to.
