I care about it but it would take them twenty times as much work because they have so many legit users.

Most of the bots use the same disposable email addresses. Other scammers use their own domain/email server so they are easy to cut off. Our block list stops about two thirds of bots that confirm@their email address and maybe 95% that sign up due to a specific prolific scammer.

This guy signed up for four accounts on our instance alone. he uses dozens of throw away email addresses with similar names. he uses the same account and user names on dozens of servers.

On this instance we take care to stop malicious accounts like this from doing bad things on the fediverse. because moderation isn't centralized it relies on people working together.

Folks we may have found an easy fix to the media server dns issue. It seems like if you change your router’s dns server to 9.9.9.9 everything works. I use it because it has the best privacy features while also being fast but aparently they never get confused about the domains. If any one who experiences problems tries this I’m currious if we can replicate the success.

It's really hard to car shop when I don't really like any of the cars, and everything is so expensive. As each week passes I really want an EV. pretty much everything is an SUV.
Does anyone know much about this new BMW i3 that will be a dedicated EV platform?
I'm at a place ion my life where I could own something nice and I don't like anything. In another time line I would be buying a an electric saab built on a GM platform.

my r2r DAC sounds much better but the BB for $250 with class A output is a good deal. I gave it to a close friend who mostly listens to LPs integrate his TV into the system. He’s got a ballin on a budget setup with a great 80s pre and power and some of the Andrew jones Elac speakers. They really blow me away for the price.

This would be a good guy to have take it over because he knows enough about suspension and wheels and tires to be able to maintain this car. It was supposed to be a forever car but then AI stole my side hustle. It has a lot of years left in it, especially if he drives his truck when the salt is out. fits are depreciation proof if they don't rust. in 10 years when this is a 250k mile car it will be a $6k car if it isn't rusted.
