I do think that the RSVP reading method is impressive, and I'm mostly happy at 600wpm, and I can see it working for articles or non-fiction but cannot see how this works for fiction. There's no time for my imagination to catch up!

generally no issue. And yeah, the warning system feels a bit over the top. If you hadn't spotted it already, if you hover on the triangle, then in the tooltip is the "updating" text which is a link to that project's setting, then you bump the ubuntu release.

One thing I'm not sure is whether it automatically deploys a new version there and then, or waits for a new push.

I ended up having to block youtube on mobile devices (specifically for the boy, 13yrs) because he would mainline youtube shorts searching for the next giggle (which we loved hearing), but it was trashing his attention. He can still watch it on the TV, but it's just not that well suited to shorts.

I'm not saying tracking links shouldn't be added to sites, but in that example, the tiktok tracker could have been blocked from medication listing pages (or profiles). That's down to a dev to gate, rather than have it apply across the site (which is what I suspect happened)

Listening to Jake Archibald (npub1dpj…e0jl) and Surma (npub1228…wtdf)'s latest chit https://offthemainthread.libsyn.com/chromes-secretly-installed-extensions - and on the hidden extension in chromium, my opinion (fwiw) echos what Jake is saying, essentially, it's the fact that it exists allows a pathway for any number of additional hidden extensions and permissions. Broken window effect, and leaves us not caring or losing trust.
