Pour info, on confirme que mettre un bloc de couleur opaque, ou un smiley, ou autre variante est toujours beaucoup plus sûr que du floutage ou tout autre transformation algorithmique.

Bien sûr, beaucoup vont exagérer les possibilités qualitatives de défloutage, néanmoins quand il s'agit de protéger la vie privée (ou sécurité) de personnes, autant ne pas prendre de risque! 🫣

One of his last fun project was building #GIMP 0.54 from 1996 in a Flatpak package (making it runnable on a modern Linux system). This was the last version using the Motif toolkit (before the GIMP authors created #GTK).

If you use GIMP from the Microsoft Store, settings, plug-ins, & other add-ons are lost when you upgrade.

The latest update will fix this, but needs a recent Windows 11.

If you’re on an older version of Windows you can still install from gimp.org. Follow the steps in this post to copy your setting the first time you switch. On Windows 11, running Windows Update may be enough.

But yeah, we have all the time people asking us for this or that other package, sometimes even getting mad at us for that!

* Windows installer already downloaded over a million times.
* Installed about 50k times from the MS Store (last data on 21st of March, so in fact more).

yeah, i should have used more words, sorry. Go to edt/preferences and it's under Canvas Interaction as Modifiers, because mouse buttons aren't considered keys by the underlying toolkits. It'd be better if we could nify these, but for now, they're in different places. But you can e.g. hold down control-cabbage-banana-shift-mouse-button-17 and click the button to rebind it.
