Oh absolutely. I meant the reason you're dealing with it in the first place.

Yep. And of course it's fixable but most people like playing games more than fixing stuff.
Personally I also like fixing stuff so I like Linux but it shouldn't be a prerequisite to playing your games and it sucks that Microsoft is forcing you down this route whether you like it or not.

New video's live! I assume we all bring consoles when we visit family for the holidays, right? Here's my top ten list of the best and most accessible multiplayer NES games for the holidays. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly89y3kn3aA #retrogaming

New video! I took €500 to spend on retro games at RetroCon Saar and this is how it went. #retrogaming https://youtu.be/zJmOI13h9Nk

Playing some #Metroid on the train and I got the M.Houdai "glitched" ending. Last mention of this is online is on GameFAQs in 2008 and a couple of YouTube videos just showing it. Did we ever figure out why this happens? #retrogaming

I'm going to be streaming some NES games later. I don't have enough subscribers yet to do a fundraiser, so the stream won't be monetised and I'll be asking viewers to donate to Trans Lifeline. Come hang out if you want. It won't be political but it will be fun. https://youtube.com/live/C2Ydma688k4 #retrogaming

Here's a clip that didn't fit into my Game Boy Micro video. I just want to show off that I pulled off a mockball while awkwardly hunched over a tripod. 😅

This is a little video about how much I love my little #Nintendo Game Boy Micro. #retrogaming https://youtu.be/TVizeiG3k0s

The pinned comment in my Zelda video is a discussion about the history of moveable type printing because I have the best audience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5Q6z66-duo

Here you go! My video on to what extent Metroid is a survival horror and my opinions on how to approach it in 2024. This was a lot of fun to make and I hope you enjoy it. #retrogaming https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfqGem5JCz4

My next video's going live at 1am CEST. I don't know how to schedule posts and I don't want to learn. When this post is four hours old, go watch it. It's a good video I think. https://www.youtube.com/@TheRetroSofa/

New video! This is quite different to my other videos in tone and content and it's about how Flappy Bird will kill us all. Very much still in the experimental phase here! Enjoy. #retrogaming #sortof

Hi. New video. Might be controversial but I don't think you can play The Legend of Zelda in 2024 as it was originally intended to be played. This is about #Zelda but also about the death of hints and what we can do about it. #retrogaming https://youtu.be/q5Q6z66-duo

Super Metroid + A Link To The Past randomiser is also really good. This also doesn't stretch into a video so I just thought I'd tell you. #retrogaming https://samus.link/

I'm playing Super Metroid on original hardware for the first time and it's really good. I don't think I can stretch that out into a video unfortunately. #retrogaming

I did a little video talking about #Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition and where it fits in Nintendo's history of fan-service from Super Mario All-Stars via NES Remix. #retrogaming

New video! I always wanted to play Cyberpunk 2077 on a #CRT TV but you gotta be careful what you wish for. Fun experiment though! #retrogaming #crtgaming https://youtu.be/BA1ct3SkFj8
