I'm once again going through that period of life when I have deleted absolutely all useless software like grocery store apps and put them on a secondary phone. And oh dog, it's a bloody pain in the arse to fish for it in the pocket every time I have to buy food at "normal" prices with loyalty card discount, then to make sure that access point is working on the other phone and it actually connects to the internet, because for some reason the ghouls who made this app made sure that qr code of this loyalty program card is a one time password that refreshes only when there's an internet access

2026-03-10T08:12:34Z

is there a particular reason why people in 2077 can't build isolated systems that aren't connected to the global network which is infested by rogue ais? It's almost like everything is made to be an interconnectable mesh which must stay online (and be compatible with old network standards) at all costs just for the sake of netwatch continued existence.

just in case: I only played original game, no phantom liberty and no tabletops.
