Here’s what that really means:
* You hand over bank logins to third parties
* They scrape & store your full transaction history on their servers
* They monetize "anonymized" insights (your data and patterns = their product)
* Creates a honeypot for hackers → see Plaid’s $58M FTC fine
* Plus, fiat is trash and is going to zero

Sat Sorter fixes this ✅
⚡ No Plaid. No MX. No bank scraping. Your data is YOUR DATA
→ Manual logging, bulk CSV imports, or NWC for Lightning wallets to track transaction on your terms
→ NWC = view-only access. Asks: "What transactions happened?" That’s it. A silent observer to help you stay organize. It will never touch your sats.
🔒 Your data stays on your device
→ Default: Browser storage (IndexedDB), encrypted.
→ Optional Nostr sync with E2E encrypted blobs (NIP-44). Relays see gibberish. Get the benefits of the cloud without using the cloud.
🟠 Bitcoin-native tracking
→ Budget in sats, USD, or both with instant currency switching
→ Track spends in real-time sats (live price conversion)
→ "$50 groceries | 5,420 sats today → 5,391 sats tomorrow"
🌐 Open source & serverless
→ Inspect the code. Fork it. Self-host it. No black boxes.
→ No "Sat Sorter cloud" → no data silo to breach.

This isn’t budgeting—it’s self-custody for your financial life.
Your keys. Your data. Your rules.

Try it: satsorter.com
