Yep. It's a weak spot that Western demographics are not educated about the Jew as an enemy. They know by now about Islam as an enemy (with Liberals pushing hard to import that enemy, exactly because it is an enemy), but there was no mainstream Aufklaerung yet when it comes to the Jew. In a fictional world where there is no Absolute (Christian) God, Frieren can claim for herself (based on her experience and personal values) that her actions to eradicate another group of living beings are justified; because in her yes, they are essential evil (irredeemable). That Frieren herself may at some point be in violation of her personal values is not touched upon (afaik). But even if she is, she would be fine, because she is, according to herself, not essentially evil.

While this rhetoric may work in Frieren's fictional word, where there is no Absolute God--especially no Absolute God that has revealed His Word--this self-determined genocidal rhetoric runs into deep issues in our own world, the real world. For all mentioned flaws (haters of God, idolaters, etc.), or incompatibilities with Christian ways and values, no external group of humans alive on earth today has been designated as ontologically evil (to be human means to be made in the Image of God=essence).

Rather, a clear division is presented between Humans (who are inherently fallen: an inclination towards evil by this fallen nature; and must therefore strive for Christ to recover their true nature), and Demons, who are not human, but fallen angels: incapable of redemption as they made their bed while in full presence and knowledge of the true state of things. The Demons of our world are indeed essentially evil, but Human error comes from our fallen nature, not our essence.

Frieren as analogy therefore only works in our world if it is applied to Demons in our own world, who are not a group of humans, not visible (usually), but rather part of a spiritual and metaphysical struggle. To apply Frieren as analogy on one of multiple groups of humans does not only (likely) hijack the story's intention, but puts us into contradiction with the Christian God, while at the same ignoring our own, inherent, tendencies towards evil.

Producers of content (whether anime, songs, or manga, etc.) want to reach as many people as possible. If the content is agreeable the audience becomes larger and larger. You cannot stop this, and if you tried, you'd be pushing back against the inherent needs of artists.

Once a certain level of popularity is reached it can create a situation where a certain culture of content is massive, yet doesn't align with globohomo tenets held as sacred in the West.
