While I appreciate efforts to identify potential privacy concerns in apps, your analysis is creating a misleading impression for users.

Your report identifies libraries in our codebase without clarifying their inactive status, which creates a misleading impression for users.

But bear in mind if you use a Mozilla account/sync you still have to know the terms for those services.

Just from a cursory glance it doesn’t seem there’s anything egregious with the terms of use or privacy policy update - is there anything specific that sticks out? Legally companies have to provide a privacy policy; terms of use aren’t necessary but just seems to state what is already the case.

We have some anti-censorship tech (Oblivious DNS) enabled for free as well - but again, it fills a different role than Tor does :-)

If you want absolute privacy, of course I would say do whatever you can to use Tor, but don't expect a web that is easily accessible. I personally don't see the point of Mullvad Browser, because it is a rebranded Tor, using their VPN instead of Tor. So you end up with a still broken web (due to HTML/JS features turned off to prevent fingerprinting etc.), but put your trust in Mullvad to not spy on your connection
