I liked Yoshi's Island, but it's definitely not the Mario World 2 that I wanted. As for New Super Mario Bros, I think they're fun, it's just the art style is lame. It's like Fischer Price Mario Bros or something. I haven't played that Princess Peach game since I owned an original DS, I'd have to play it again. I remember it was not bad though.

Also this weird ass "real life" city aesthetic where cartoon boy Mario walks around in a more realistic environment was dumb as hell. Idk what they were smoking when they made that level.

I played that game to death when it came out. I would get all 120 stars and then start a new file and do it again. 3D Mario games were always good, but the last Odyssey one was way too easy until the final challenge level or whatever. Same thing with Mario Wonder, it was super easy until the very last secret level. I wish they made them more difficult instead of turning it into a baby game. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I love 2D Mario games, but the art style of the New Mario Bros series sucked. I think Mario Wonder was a little bit better looking, but I wish Nintendo would do something different with Mario for once. Link always gets different designs and art styles for different games, but Mario has been mostly the same since Famicom. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anybody with a Nintendo play that new Fire Emblem game? I used to like those games, but it looks like they put a bunch of gay looking DEI anime characters in it.
