and don't get me started on taxi prices, public toilet prices, the price of a glass of water. For example: Paris, the city of "love" and "the smell of pee" because visiting a public toilet will cost you 2 Euro / person.
Did I mention everything closes at 18:00 so you have to rush after work if you want food at night? Haven't missed it a single bit. (And I hope I never have to go the USA... unless you elect a mentally secure, atheist, green colored president... )

it was not my intention to frame it in a bad way. With "more" I did not mean "more private" than DeltaChat. I meant projects that do other things than messages that are privacy focussed. For example #syncthing is another amazing project that solves a different problem. I should have explained it better sorry.

I absolutely love #deltachat, but I would like to know if there are more privacy oriented projects out there. Especially ones that don't assume you're some dude in de USA with no great firewall. #privacy #distributed I worked on #bitmessage for a long time but that ultimately didn't work out.

Recently I've been unable to send messages from my mobile with #deltachat. I can receive messages, but not send, even though I have multiple relays configured. My best guess is they're either using #dpi to block suspicious #smtp traffic or they are actively building a list of servers to block.

It's pretty basic, especially since I can't get #open-rpc-generator to generate #csharp code, seems to be limited to #rust and #typescript

To use it, follow the `import` instructions and provide your own implementation of `IMessageProcessor`.

So it actually worked. You can use #blazor or #godot to build #webxdc apps. Basically this means you can use #csharp to build webxdc apps or games. This is perfect for asynchronous #multiplayer #games via #deltachat.

When using the selection tool in #gimp, it will only show you the size and aspect ratio of the selected area if you hold down the mouse button. This is extremely annoying because holding down the mouse button means you have to be real careful not to change the selection area by moving. A little over 20 years ago, I made my first contribution to an #opensource project: #mono. Those were the days, I had the privilege of having private #irc chats with people like John Carmack and Miguel de Icaza ᯅ🍉 (npub1dq6…s2ns) (although neither of them will remember that 😅)and the internet was still free of all the bullshit it's littered with today. Now most of mono has been merged into #dotnet and #mono has been handed over to #winehq. That's over 20 years of .NET and still going strong, no plans to switch.
