Thanks for getting back. I didn't realize, had only came across a note mentioning ngit yesterday. Now migrating over to GRASP.

I retested the issues on the archived ngit repo:

#6 install.sh now skips rbenv shims, places binaries in ~/.local/bin. Verified persistent after rbenv rehash.

#7 Ran into a similar state. A little more detail on retest with: git clone --mirror https://codeberg.org/xplbzx/ngit-upstream-issues/src/branch/main/UPDATE.md

Looking forward to testing ngit-grasp. Still getting my head around the basics.

Was testing ngit-relay using docker-compose with nginx (instead of Traefik.)
All works well. There were a few hiccups on my set up, on the way.

Shocking, but not surprising.
It wasn't too long ago that I could walk down the road, go through the doors of my bank after a years with no contact, no transactions and ask the teller for an account statement. This was normal.
Deactivating and some basic security checks, I could almost forgive, but needing to 'maintain presence' or be tracked is not the social contract I was hoping for. Such a waste of everyone's time.
Appreciate the heads up.
