With a combination of a llamacpp container running on my home server, with an old RTX2080, #homeassistant, whisper, piper, and some M5 Atom Echos running #esphome I finally have a path to a fully de-googled home automation voice control system. I have a Respeaker XVF3800 on the way. The echos have very shitty microphones and speakers. Hopefully I should be able to ditch the google home minis I have around.

Correct! About six hours ago I was getting 30Mb/s speeds on cloudflare speed tester. Aussie broadband's customer dashboard reported a service interruption of some flavour, but there were no emails.
