At the most basic they need to have closed loop cooling so that any pollutants stay within the plant and are not discharged to the environment. This means that although the waste heat is discharged (a problem in itself) the water that takes the heat away is not otherwise impacted. In particular Green supporters in the constituency are going to feel very let down, almost as though they are being pressured to vote for Reform Lite.

My mother is in LA funded residential care; her home stands empty (don't get me started) and is security for a deferred payment agreement.
The care provider is a charity which mostly looks after people with dementia.
The LA funding doesn't cover the charity's cost of care. Privately funded residents are paying extra because of this.
The difference is going to eventually bankrupt the charity.
What then?
