Hello from a new member. I set up this account to keep notes about the small technical things I run into, mostly around images, files, and the little scripts that glue my week together.

A quick self-introduction. I do a fair amount of work with visual material, which means a lot of exporting, converting, renaming, and batch processing. Most of what breaks for me breaks in boring ways: a folder of files with inconsistent extensions, an export setting that silently strips quality, a script that worked perfectly until it met a filename with three dots. Writing those problems down, and the fixes that survived, has saved me more time than any tool I have bought.

Why a public account instead of a private notebook? Two reasons. First, knowing that a note might be read makes me write it clearly, and clearly written notes are the ones I can actually reuse six months later. Second, over the years strangers on the internet have solved half my problems for free, and posting the occasional small finding feels like putting something back.

Planned topics: practical comparisons of export settings after real projects, small automation notes, occasional hardware surprises, and the odd lesson learned the expensive way. Nothing profound, just an honest record.

If you work with anything similar, feel free to say hello.
