Ran the TCS #SydneyMarathon on Sunday! What a beautiful course! This was my 77th #Marathon and my 7th star in the Abbott World Marathon Majors. Weather was perfect! Sunny but not too warm. Finish line at the iconic #SydneyOperaHouse. Lots of crowd support along the course--good on ya, #Sydney! Was nice to have a stroll along #Bondi Beach the day after the race.

Have been enjoying my time in #Auckland and now #Sydney leading up to the #SydneyMarathon. Took a #ferry tour of #SydneyHarbour last night--what a great way to see the city! Looking forward to the #race tomorrow.

After some speed repeats today, I finished the year having completed 2724.6 km of #running. Slightly more than 2024 and slightly less than 2023.

That includes 6 full #marathon races plus the Near Death Marathon (part of the #CanadianDeathRace).

My next big events are Hypothermic Half Marathon in Jan and Tokyo Marathon in Mar (my 6th world major).

2025 hasn't been a good year politically, but running has kept me healthy and sane!
