Fine detail is lost.
It also seems to be less flexible with options to turn off all the post processing.

On the older phones, things look more natural, yes they are grainy and not as high resolution, but easier to work with in Photoshop.

Why is this?

2025-08-14T05:21:34Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsxj8x67yawpr2nqtk6uqqr2tpjv9587udykera2r6appj3czcag9czyrrvryf243kzt0k6w5et83flg4ua4jmhcncy09t569rthr0jet3yg3vc2c5 In reply to nevent1q…uvww
_________________________

I can see that problem, but that's surely an issue everywhere, even indie game development?
That it can be abused isn't a reason not to do it, just means people need to take more responsibility.
Plus, if were talking photos specifically, its easy to prove you own them via raw files (if they were taken on a proper camera).

Remember these "payments" are entirely voluntary, for small amounts, and its not like anyone is getting rich :)

But I do apprentice your point and yes, money can introduce its own problems. :)

2025-08-08T10:32:51Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqst689tz7g5lkx9q5wwq64z02ewgyh2uum4yly7cgd900p8awvkwagzyrrvryf243kzt0k6w5et83flg4ua4jmhcncy09t569rthr0jet3ygtr7c52 About 15 years ago, I proposed an idea to the owner of a large internet photography site.
Allow us to add money to our monthly subscription fee, that we could then use to "tip" photos that were posted that we liked.

The idea was to encourage people to post more, and better pictures. But also to reward photographers that you thought were posting good work, since there were really no other ways am average photographer could make any money back from shoots (outside of weddings etc, I'm talking about hobby photography).

Anyway, the owner eventually said no, he couldn'timagine people just "randomly giving money away". I explained it only had to be cents/pennies, whatever, but he declined.

And here we are on nostr, where people randomly zap things they find cool or interesting, including photos :) and it's a great , unexpected, thing 😀😃

2025-08-08T10:17:37Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqspqt88mhdncgz7aew9j8zx64pxeng66gw9h4fh2hgtg9vj5xehptgzyrrvryf243kzt0k6w5et83flg4ua4jmhcncy09t569rthr0jet3yglqdle5 Flat earth is a fake conspiracy theory.
I believe it was invented by "some government agency" in order to discredit other conspiracy theories.
"Look at those crazy conspiracy theorists, they're clowns, they think the earth is flat, haha. Most of the films and music I got came from charity shops for virtually free (some shops do 5 or 10 dvds for the equivalent of $1.

Most people think I'm insane :) but they can go do face scans to listen to their favorite metal album on Spotify, I'll carry on doing my thing :)

2025-08-04T08:27:31Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsy2e4tdwttlv5t4fmljtnu2huh3tqxu8my4gehz7nsnv8jyradawszyrrvryf243kzt0k6w5et83flg4ua4jmhcncy09t569rthr0jet3yg0w75rc hello world, I just made this account on https://nostr.com! #introductions 2025-08-01T21:37:07Z
