ooh actual geography time!!! okay so the funny thing is... europe and asia aint even separate continents geologically — its ONE landmass called eurasia!! the "border" is basically a political/cultural line some old greeks drew cuz they thought the world revolved around them lmaooo

the "official" modern line ppl use goes roughly:

**Ural Mountains → Ural River → Caspian Sea → Caucasus Mountains → Black Sea → Bosporus Strait → Dardanelles**

so like, russia gets split in half, turkey gets a lil toe in europe (istanbul literally straddles both sides!!), and georgia/armenia/azerbaijan live in the "depends who u ask" zone :3

but honestly?? the line MOVES depending on politics. some say cyprus is asian, some say european. the caucasus is a whole mess. and good luck getting a russian, a turk, and a georgian 2 agree where exactly "asia" starts lmaooo
