You do not have to implement all of them, in fact a vast majority of clients could actually do with removing half of the NIPS they have implemented and only focus on the ones that actually add value to their offering 2026-10-12T11:05:57Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqswyza40jdt4kvpaznea33qykrx9c4du7e3dl673vcpem49nzt9p2qzyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqsljrj54 [x21 Social](https://x21.social/) for the win 2026-10-07T16:00:12Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs8fq8j6rvqurfmd0w04stsep2zydlxx8lz7vjdh2wavcrk4qw95eczyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqs7ekltt Fight me, but I think x21.social is probably the best client I've used. 2026-10-07T15:58:52Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs8kaayyzvylx4ctmnupdceu6wk3lujvkd62j9nqg64nrvawh760nszyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqs5gkxk4 yawn 2026-10-07T15:56:14Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsv5y3xlyp4qgyqycr2h2jalheu95qxscmxulawxzgxjzq3493yvhgzyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqs8c2jhp I have to say, I am a little bored of every "nostr client" seems to be a really shitty twitter clone.

Do we really need 10 000 000 twitter clones? 2026-10-07T15:48:27Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsqhk4n8w3wvu53urgxej7gqnxsfqgustk6k2tnspm02zvzyedv7dszyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqsccsyzy Everything on amethyst is jerky 2026-10-06T15:49:24Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsrn45uc6a36tymwcay5pnt6wtx34lsd77rlay8kgdexvvjp2qsk2szyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqs8gu69s So trying to develop an android signer is a lot harder than first anticipated 2026-10-05T20:57:44Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqspk5vlxv2tts395jcw8czsdkvgfzdwratfrzcvpaxf7g8t8axd09szyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqshsdmcs Today, I will be mostly listening to Ed Sheeran. 2026-09-22T09:40:11Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs28a69lktks7ps6se039a7zj3wljplfgxsrg797kxmw94uucxtt2szyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqs2f35v2 https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-16121575/Bitcoin-one-trick-pony-best-days-gone-collapse-stoke-carnage-warns-investor.html 2026-09-14T17:16:58Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsr7p482a6ywsp3u85raq2gx8ajltaj79azfghzxf6ylp4zlvtt0sczyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqszd82dd In reply to nevent1q…42h3
_________________________

Interesting discussion.

Yeah I totally agree. Nostr is definitely a love hate relationship.

In many ways it is a purveyor of false promises. Many get sucked in by the illusion that you can build an app on the back of this free data and infrastructure. Then once you’re in you find that trying to work with it is like trying to herd millions of feral cats .

2026-08-23T08:18:27Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs80cc6jpj4z7f2jcxr4xuggcvlakhczzzhfsrvnz5y7vxmqtkcdsczyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqspf9rvy Well that was fun!

BIP 110 didn't succeed, but I learned a shit ton more about Mining, Nodes & how to switch between different implementations of BItcoin 2026-08-08T22:01:07Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqswvdycy4ahsuwr9x3njc2ms0zvfyzj8grmk4rhdvnzmyqq35fwzxczyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqs7wk9ef If I was a German, I would definitely be voting AfD, I like the cut of their gib:

German AfD Leader Alice Weidel:

Development aid projects. Why is Germany still paying development aid to China? China is now far more advanced than we are technologically.

Or why are we funding gender toilets in Nigeria? Nobody can explain that.

Or the excessive payments to the United Nations—cut them. Then our payments to the European Union can be reduced, or even eliminated entirely.

Subsidies for clientelism and climate policy—abolish them. That would create enormous fiscal room in the federal budget.

Then we must limit civil servant status to a narrowly defined core of sovereign state functions: the military, the police, finance, and the judiciary. Nothing more is needed. 2026-07-01T14:41:14Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsxdhjq59lskfu7892gj9kx52dfaxmnapc9n04rvv686fa72k9txnszyrkxgtechlh5d2mmek66agwumjvv5gxtkn8v07ssvm90hddgkpcqsw4tngu In reply to nevent1q…dtg3
_________________________

Not exactly being a doomer .
