Browsers are cool, CSS is cool... Javascript got out voted and pushed many conventionalized operations off to the browser to render. Don't get me wrong, better browser rendering is what we need, but CSS went from adding color and style on a page to programming each element on the page.

This was a question I had from about two years ago, getting back into CSS design and building new websites for clients. The change in the web landscape has evolved greatly.

https://claytonerrington.com/blog/css-is-a-programing-language/

#blog #css #javascript #webdev 2026-02-24T22:27:57Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs80dmsq2lk0wnlvzu7yy33pv8qjqqfvgydlv9src08peqrz0qmrnszyr4l7w7zpj20r9dutv3n6pqajw39fa2cts2ws0t9sra0tn9fl8snv84we53 Hey #polymathssocial and other #gotosocial folks, went to the museum of natural science and saw a giant ground sloth and thought of all of you wonderful people.

Meet the Eremotherium, greatest of the ground sloths.

2025-12-20T20:13:40Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsts0f8pgy3avmuw7pfm6cwlzcadpvkwmmln8hegwhg5kt9s2xfxhqzyr4l7w7zpj20r9dutv3n6pqajw39fa2cts2ws0t9sra0tn9fl8snvjx8nrq Glad I have my #miyoominiplus while waiting at the airport to take off.
