That's a big union. What can we be doing before then. That's 2 years of planning and a lot of direct action that can be happening before then.

Start saving your money for prolonged disruption. Start thinking about what your role can be now in your community and what role you can play in a General Strike. Plan to offer mutual aid in your community. Start meeting with neighbors now and with fellow workers.

https://may1.uaw.org/

With Apple’s WWDC25 announcements comes news that most pre-2020 Macs are ineligible for macOS 26... Obviously, given my recent turn to GNU/Linux I’m going to take this as an opportunity to encourage Mac users to add GNU/Linux to their line-up. Take it as an opportunity to learn. Productive and fun computing does not require macOS. Oh my, for some reason I got it in my head to try Emacs. lol. WHAT AM I DOING?? I'm not using it in terminal, but, rather the Gui version. Gotta ease into it.

Why, why, why?? If I stick with it it will take me forever to remember these keybindings. It does seem very fast though. Also, splitting a frame into multiple windows seems useful.

Me: Just use a text editor.
Also me: But learning Emacs will be fun.
Me: ????

#Emacs #GNU
