I have to get back to the Day Job (TM) now, but I am probably going to play around a bit more later. 2025-05-13T13:12:30Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs9v60zqe6mmqsfm0hrynr7as7hpp5ll46rzvrgf99zr7dqaq6aa4qzyqu8susxx795d89rrq36d5fyyke0szv2qt4as4kvlr4wtm7zsy882fv35ze In reply to nevent1q…46hz
_________________________

Doing a bit of research on my own, and I see there is a relatively new ITPC alt-text-accessibility field. And I see an android app to edit EXIF metadata here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.xnano.android.photoexifeditor&hl=en_US

I'll play around today and see what I can make work :-) 2025-05-13T12:41:55Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsx3n608jy0gwf7hwxzn76ts0add98tf44uycc6qkeat3auyc7vplszyqu8susxx795d89rrq36d5fyyke0szv2qt4as4kvlr4wtm7zsy882c6eevh I've been thinking a lot lately about photo editing and sharing on the go. I have a few places I like to post images, but to put captions and ALT text in every place, one at a time, is time consuming, and takes some of the fun out of sharing.

Does anyone know of a tool that lets you add ALT text directly to the image file meta so that it is read by Mastodon (and other sites) when the image is uploaded? So I don't have to enter it multiple times? Does such a thing exist?

photography group (npub1fcp…w85n) 2025-05-13T12:28:43Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsy4qfaaa6psqmpa0wvyu9zvneqlre6ugcfu7dspn8u8eyy747ejggzyqu8susxx795d89rrq36d5fyyke0szv2qt4as4kvlr4wtm7zsy882fplmkm Ok, Mastodon.
