Song: Eine Kleine Nacht Ringtone

Arla: This town might be a little too well run.
Tammy: This town would be a shit show, but in a fun way.

#WordWeavers
Your characters get one completely ordinary day with no villains, quests, murders, wars, prophecies, romantic disasters, or impending apocalypses. How do they spend it?

OMG, they would get so bored! Well, Arla wouldn't as she's a Traitor and it's her job to go around and stir things up. Tammy would just find something to steal, Behsaa would spend some time with his sister.

Tammy believes she knows all the tricks.

Behsaa believes being forced into the Irregulars (German Foreign Legion) is the worst thing that will happen to him.

During the pandemic, I lost my flat and all my work in London, moved in with my parents who live in rural Tasmania, on the other side of the planet.

There's a distinct lack of acting work in rural Tasmania. So, I started writing more seriously as an outlet. I'm still in Tasmania, and kind of want to move somewhere more stimulating, but two books and five novellas later, it's been great for my writing.#books

Do you need to finish a work before starting another? Why (or why not)?

Two works ongoing. Other bits pop up.

Ideas don't necessarily come in order, on demand. Writing about one thing will trigger a realisation about something else. A lot of that is just junk, but it's hard to tell in the moment what's junk and what's useful, so I write it all down.

Most reviewers are so overwhelmed they are only reviewing authors they know, or asking for money. Are there any reviewers of indie books you folks recommend for the Sci-Fi Fantasy realm? Boost for reach if you would, please.

Going to be busy during winter. I'll be at Melbourne Comic Con on the Saturday, promoting the Kickstarter launch of my book, Desolation: The Overdue Library. Then at Supanova in Sydney, where I may stay on for a few days to do some board game stuff. Plus next weekend is our local board game club getaway! Fun, fun, fun.

Or from Kickstarter!

I'm bouncing with excitement so much that I'm going to have to go for a walk to calm down.

Two weeks until the launch of my next book. You folkes are going to love this one. A series of Novellas set on an alien planet. A crashed spaceship reverting to steam power with remnants of technology and nothing is as it seems.

Join up below and please share this for exposure!

myrmepropagandist (npub1ppe…qv2g) So tell me, she who knows, I've got some bugs coming up in the next section of my series of novellas. What's a good documentary on ant behaviour, possibly bees, for me to steal some cool bits for my alien bugs? My characters will be literally crawling into the nest, so I need a good primer. A lecture recorded at a university might also work.

Have you ever made a mistake in your writing that turned into something great? Desolation started because I typed ballroom and auto-correct came up with brawl room. Then my brain went, oooo!
