The semi-joke answer of English would be the universal practical utility; the non-joke answer would probably have to be Chinese.

The reason being I'd have knowledge of the language which dominates production in many fields, and I'd get a moderate buff on learning moonrunes, too.

Nipponees would allow me to comfortably read them novels and speak natively with those few I know from there.

Many of the new tape heads are mono only AFAIK, and the mechanism is often subpar at best. I don't know how easy it would be to get over there, but an older (for example) Sony one in good condition would beat many newer ones I believe.

I was going to say they probably agressively rare limit any non-Japanese IPs, but on second though I think I recall seeing a lot of images failing to load through mstdn.jp's media proxy as well, so it's probably any external requests.

It's not all that surprising since their instance is pretty massive. Just the egress must be must be hard to keep up with on their end, even if they do sit behind Cloudflare.

I don't have much personal experience interacting in real life with either homosexuals or transgenders, who openly flaunt it, but those that I actually have met and spoken to haven't been the best of people, let's just say.

Those that get featured in media I have no doubt are amongst the worse, generally. Though, to be fair, that likely goes for most cases.

I don't agree with that the takes that, for example, "phobia" against homosexual men are down to a fear of "getting anally plowed". I at least have never had that thought cross my mind. I've had many other thoughts with those I've interacted with, but certainly not that.

Edit:
I realize I might've worded some of that sub-optimally, but the overall message probably comes across. Additionally, the overuse of the word "phobia" is moronic. Feeling hate or fear towards a blatantly incredibly weird or even clearly batshit person is _not_ unreasonable.
