Could you let me know how long it takes a review to appear on Comaps? Its not immediate like Mangrove/MapComplete. Do you need to wait until the map is updated? I just assumed that reviews were pulled from Mangrove in real time.

AGU attendance was down by 23%, which is consistent with these travel numbers. For LPSC, my guess is that things have just "gotten worse" as it is a couple months later than AGU. LPI is also censoring abstracts, but I suspect that this only accounts for a few percent of the drop.

The number of abstracts submitted to the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (#LPSC) this year is down by almost 50% when compared to normal years.

It's hard to say what is the main cause, but big factors are Europeans who don't want to travel to the US, reductions of US research budgets, censorship of abstracts, and just your average hatred of Texas.

Now that I have a new home on solarsystem.social, here's a new #introduction!

I am a #planetary scientist working at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (#IPGP) in France. My research uses the #gravity field, #topography, and #MagneticField of the planets to decipher their internal structure and geologic evolution. My favorite terrestrial body is the #Moon, but I also work with #Mercury, #Venus, and #Mars. Soon I will need to learn about #Psyche and the icy satellites of #Jupiter!
