However, something feels off if you pay Bitcoin for junk.

Like what's the point of paying sats for fiat food? It's not about being able to pay in sats, it's about *what you're getting* and Bitcoin is only acting as the exchange medium.

The finest money deserves the finest things, IMHO.
2025-11-03T11:33:10Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsdtrhjv7lfdruvdud4dw0skqhfrn60v3tjcl94fqxjgtl4fkv0dvgzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heq884hlv Only put what you are willing to lose in banks. 2025-09-20T14:38:59Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsp7kshk7nuy46rvhy6t22quf0ga59rgch75zf2ca55gmetf0y669czyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heql8caer I was speaking to a friend last night: if you are running a small business, usually people will pay via their bank. There are several issues with this, which many people do not see or understand. Firstly, the payment processor takes around 3%. Then, if you transfer the money to your local bank, another fee applies. Then, if you want to exchange the fiat currency into something else, another fee is incurred. Basically endless fee.

This is also before talking about inflation.

Now, if people pay in BTC, the fees are so low, and it's instant with Lightning. Waking up today, someone paid me in Lightning. Such a nice way to start the day!

One last thing: it is a JOY to create products and then sell them for sats. You control everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Your labor, your rules. 2025-08-14T12:24:47Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsfqdp7wwh3ms59mw4xm5d6vamuxdlgthm35lq592ch050z3hhve0qzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heq5dtnae Cypherpunk Bitchat 🫂

2025-07-29T12:20:05Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs9c6lv8wpl69d6daw4z6z84m7gp55txuvpl5aznwzjwwx2w0hhkuczyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqt0nck2 In reply to nevent1q…6ra9
_________________________

new ad from İstanbul airport as well

2025-07-16T10:36:16Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqstgance8ht2mt8s828rly5lpndg8zxc9pxp3rlhw5jlykvxz78uxszyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqhk9k06 I find it increasingly difficult to go around without seeing Bitcoin. 🤔

2025-07-16T10:33:42Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsrkuzqenvjfyqcm27z7y39r8tp23jalhndghflsehl49h9mqt84tqzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqd38k9m Commitment is hard but that's what truly brings joy in life. 2025-04-28T18:32:40Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsdt8j7vwsk66wwj6pclmfmce0jply7nw6k6tpf43y955vvpgfvfqgzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heq9qhuud In reply to nevent1q…khc6
_________________________

😂😂😂😮‍💨 2025-04-23T11:43:50Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqswshphkvm3hcqyx67fuvpxrgt6lu7l2m5hw7h8wnyrr37a9e4huqgzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqcsmej8 What are some of the things you own that could potentially be passed down to future generations?

Besides Bitcoin. 2025-04-23T11:30:01Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsz3aa369e3yxmvt99wka6pqd7jqg8jka02mh8r6p8grvpdkymm4rqzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqv2rnpv It's not about living in which country but about crafting your own networks with people you can trust, which makes life so much easier.
2025-04-21T20:43:51Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsrpl42u27235gfk0yh5trev6vnrzcve7np9meq5tm6cgmpqtg8udszyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqf0qx3h How to avoid Supermarket/ Chains

- Getting raw milk from farms, then make your butter, cheese, or yogurt if you have the time and energy ( yogurt is pretty easy )

- Getting olive and olive oil from Olive farms ( I think olive oil is the most important thing when it comes to cooking, I don't understand how some people can live without it 😂 )

- Getting meat from butchers, knowing your local butcher is really important, you might getting the best piece every time you go.

- Fresh veggies and eggs from weekly markets

How's your practice 👀 2025-04-10T10:54:25Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqstj64gzfvdfsgvjgzz558k6xt4jxzxvrclxdxr0s3y9s5xjmcredczyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heq07pe29 One of my favorite cafes down the street can't be ordered online, you HAVE to go there IN PERSON ( in fact, most of the cafes here can't be ordered online), even though they have all the packaging ready. 🤯

I guess what they are really selling is the experience of sitting there and having conversations on top of the good coffee ( they even offered us tea for free sometimes ), cozy! Put the big fat stash stored in cold wallets, the money you would not use for a long time. 2025-03-08T13:59:06Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs99mhv6zeysvgdf2lqxyuhpzzp2c3yaevn37kzpzukfgu0rm78zuszyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heq8j8f0h 2025-03-08T12:00:05Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqsqp67mxxkehdehnsxqzvsq76de74w0s3w6zn5rc3l66fkd4j2huugzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqe5n9w9 To protect something, aka privacy, simply avoid sharing those information on the internet. 2025-03-07T14:40:53Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqszdsmlklfanwl5ghgfskl6lc745ldahtg9karvd5v097k3q4kl9hqzyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqsnayxg We came from a time when people used to be self-sufficient and make use of some extra time to do work at home, then moved into the factories in cities and started the long working hour, slowly to the office 9-5, then the digital nomad lifestyle and everyone wants to be content creators these days.

I wonder what's next 🤔 e.g., going back to live in the countryside and raise a family?
2025-03-05T15:41:46Z https://nostr.now/nevent1qqs2nsjjzkwh37yefjx0snl74c3ctj5gvhju76s78l6ue2dd8ksmy8szyqlh6x3qc9arm83cvhn94f8duygwkq3caymxfglheh6tx2ams4heqnrnk3c Sharing my Sat Stacks

- Blink Wallet (nprofile…lfqf) : the best wallet for newbies / as a burner wallet with the trial account.

ZEUS (nprofile…zjpe) : a handy mobile node / the best for nomads.

- Blixt hampus (nprofile…fk29) almost working like a node / perfect match with Zeus when SHTF.

- Electrum &
