Hmm, does any fedi implementation have a “friendlist”? As in “I want to keep this contact, but not follow them”.

Follow+mute is probably one way to do this, but it feels (a) wrong and (b) that some clients will not be able to understand correctly :-/ (Also: I currently only know what Pleroma does, did no research before posting, but I need to swap this out of my brain to keep my sanity 🤷)

(not aimed at anyone, just a random thought)

Why the fuck do some eshops only allow filtering in gendered categories of "men's backpacks" and "women's backpacks", when in the end the products are the same, so looking in both categories just leads to viewing the same backpack twice?

Are there even supposed to be construction differences? idgaf if the backpack is pink or whatever. (Will be muddy in two weeks anyway, I know myself…)

(e.g. having /boot be the EFI partition and booting from UKI verified by Secure Boot)

Like, half of available trackballs I am aware of are the thumb-driven or otherwise asymmetric and the rest are either the ~3 Kensingtons, or only available abroad.
