Mandatory cycle helmet laws just mean less cycling and an overall decline in health for the population.

This idea is by someone who is an idiot or hates cyclists.

It's intended to be used followed by a value that is currency, with context hopefully explaining which currency. It is perhaps most useful for currencies that have no dedicated character.

In Norway most people use [value]kr (kr = KRoner or crowns). You also see [value]NOK (NOrwegian Kroner).

I prefer ¤ because it is shorter, simpler and if it is ambigious I add 🇳🇴 on the end, e.g ¤100🇳🇴 (this is the same number of characters as 100NOK anyway.)

Used in nightlife, broadcasting, and transport, the time extends the day past midnight to keep late-night events grouped with the same calendar day. So a club open from 11PM to 1AM might list its hours as 23:00–25:00.

Early Roman numerals often used additive notation (e.g. IIII or VIIII) before subtractive forms like IV and IX became the "modern standard". Both are valid. Indeed the two conventions sometimes even get used together (and not just on clock faces), often in the same text or even sometimes in the same numeral. One minor point besides the fact that the silver case colour wears away pretty quickly, is that the strap loop on ours moves a lot and therefore is annoying and fairly useless, as provided.

A quick fix is to put a small dab of glue on the underside of the stap between it and the loop when it is in an optimal position. Once held in place, it works just fine.

1. The readablity for the size is much better IMHO due to the white numerals on black background.
2. They are ⅒ of the price!

Also they (and the Flik Flaks) are far, far superior to kids watches that do not clearly label the minutes, since kids can struggle with this at the beginning.

What is really nice here is that each hand points directly the relevant numberals and optimally uses all the space.

While the likes of Flik Flak make nice kids watches, they are a little on the pricy side.

Potentially better IMHO however are these kids field/pilot style watches from AliExpress. They cost basically nothing [<$5🇺🇸] and the hour hand points to an inner ring of numbered hours, while the minute hand points to an outer ring of numbered minutes. So simple!
